Jill Biden said that Kamala Harris should “go f**k” herself after she questioned Joe Biden’s views on race during a Democratic party debate. According to a new report, relayed in the New York Post, an issue arose when Kamala Harris – now Vice President to Joe Biden – hit out at his record when it came to opposing federally mandated interracial busing to desegregate schools.
At the Democratic primary, Harris told Biden: “That little girl was me!”
Yet the verbal volley wasn’t appreciated by all, it would seem. Future First Lady Jill Biden, so often the picture of decorum and grace, was then to be heard just one week later fuming to a group of supporters on a phone call.
“With what he cares about, what he fights for, what he’s committed to, you get up there and call him a racist without basis? Go f–k yourself,” Jill allegedly said.
Needless to say, Joe didn’t much like Harris’ attack either. While still up on stage during the debate, he turned to fellow candidate Pete Buttigieg and said: “That was some f–king bullshit.”
Of course, Biden and Harris appear to have patched any rift between them, or at least settled their major differences, since the pair are now working in the White House together.
In fact, President Biden has even branded his work as that of the “Biden-Harris” administration, while making it clear that he sees himself as a transitional president.
Harris, meanwhile, is the first African American vice president, as well as the first female vice president. It’s fair to say she’s not loved by all, but there are a good many who see her as a potential runner for the presidency in the future.
