Jackson County Sheriff’s Office arrests woman on drug charges following traffic stop

Topeka, KANSAS – According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, her name is Megan Lee Lindsey and she was arrested for possession of methamphetamine.

Deputies say the 33-year-old woman was arrested following a traffic stop around 9:15 a.m. Friday morning.

Jackson County Sheriff’s deputy stopped Ford F-150 near 134th and U.S. Highway 75 for a traffic violation.

Authorities say a K9 alerted deputies to the presence of drugs in the truck.

Megan Lee Lindsey, the vehicle’s passenger, was arrested.

The 33-year-old woman was booked into the Jackson Co. Jail for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
