Topeka, KANSAS – TFD officials said this incident occurred right before 8 p.m. Saturday.
It happened on SW Tyler Street.
Topeka Fire Department crews responded to a report of a house fire.
The responding crews saw smoke and flames coming from the two-story house.
They were able to quickly extinguish the blaze.
No one was injured in this incident, officials said.
The two-story home suffered an estimated $30,000 in damage, authorities said Saturday night.
No working smoke detectors were found in the home.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
