Sedgwick County, KANSAS – According to the Wichita Fire Department, this unfortunate incident occurred around 2:11 a.m. early Friday morning.
It happened in the 4700 block of E Gilbert.
Wichita Fire Department crews responded to a report of a house fire.
The responding crews were able to quickly extinguish the blaze.
They discovered that no one was living in the house and no injuries were reported.
The fire caused roughly $60,000 in damage to the home.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
