Topeka, KANSAS – According to the Topeka Police Department officials, the fatal shooting occurred right before 1 a.m. early Tuesday morning.
It happened on S.E. Lawrence.
Topeka Police Department officers responded to a shooting call.
When the officers arrived on scene, they found one victim.
Police said the victim suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment, where they later died.
The victim’s age or identity have not yet been released.
No suspects have been arrested yet, police said.
