Lawrence, KS – The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office took part in the “Cardinal Connections: Together We Soar” event at Eudora Middle School, which brought together students from multiple area schools.
Sheriff Armbrister, Undersheriff Simmons, and deputies interacted with students by showcasing equipment including patrol vehicles, boats, and drones, while also discussing the role of the Sheriff’s Office.
Officials expressed appreciation to the event organizers, including school staff and student ambassadors, for coordinating the program.
The event focused on inclusion and community engagement, providing students with an opportunity to connect with local law enforcement.
