It happened on S.W. 31st Terrace.
Topeka Fire Department crews responded to a report of a house fire.
The responding crews saw flames and smoke coming from the house.
They were able to quickly extinguish the blaze.
No one was injured in this incident, Topeka Fire Department officials said.
Damages are estimated at $10,000 to the structure.
