Lawrence, KS – The City of Lawrence announced a series of “Budget & Brews” events as part of its 2027 budget planning process, inviting residents to share feedback and ask questions.
Officials said community members can meet with city staff during two upcoming events scheduled from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. on March 31 and April 6 at Uplift Coffee locations.
For those unable to attend in person, the city is also offering online options through its Engage Lawrence platform, where residents can participate in budget simulations, complete surveys, share ideas, and submit questions.
City leaders said the initiative is aimed at encouraging public involvement and gathering input to help shape the upcoming budget.
