Wichita, KANSAS – According to the Wichita Police Department, the shooting occurred right before 1 a.m. Thursday.
It happened in the 1400 block of North Harding.
Wichita Police Department officers responded to a shooting call.
When the officers arrived on scene, they found 11-year-old victim.
Police say the victim suffered not life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Investigators say the girl was struck by a bullet.
