Lawrence, KANSAS – According to the statement, the unidentified student was reportedly found around 5:11 p.m. Thursday.
Officers responded to a welfare check at Gertrude Sellards Pearson Residence Hall.
The responding officers reportedly found the male student deceased in his room.
Officials said that no foul play is suspected and the student’s death remains under investigation.
