Lawrence, KANSAS – According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, this incident occurred around 12:25 a.m. early Saturday morning.
It happened at 13th and Massachusetts streets.
Ford Explorer was eastbound on 13th when it turned north onto Massachusetts and struck two pedestrians who were walking west across the street.
Authorities identified the pedestrians as Chloe Tilton and Cade Wilson.
Both victims suffered minor injuries and were taken to a hospital.
The 32-year-old driver of the Ford, Zachary Isaac, was not injured.
This incident remains under investigation.
