Wichita, KANSAS – According to the statement, this incident occurred right after 5 a.m. Saturday.
It happened in the 900 block of North Country Acres.
Wichita Fire Department crews responded to a report of a house fire.
When the crews arrived on scene, they found a person who was injured.
The Wichita Fire Department crews pulled the person out and tried to resuscitate them.
Unfortunately, the person was pronounced dead at the scene.
This incident remains under investigation.
