Lawrence, KANSAS – According to the statement, his name is Javier Isidro Romero and he was arrested Friday.
Police say the 18-year-old suspect was arrested in connection with the Sept. 8 shooting death of Christian Talib Willis.
The suspect was booked into the Douglas County Jail and was being held on a $1 million bond.
The shooting occurred near the University of Kansas campus.
Authorities are looking for a second suspect.
