Authorities are investigating a man on drug charges after a traffic stop on a bicycle

TOPEKA – According to the police officials, his name is Carlos A. Brown and he was arrested around 9:15 p.m. July 22.

The 31-year-old man was arrested during a traffic stop in the 300 block of NW Paramore Street in Topeka.

During the traffic stop, deputies discovered that Brown had a felony warrant out of Jackson County.

They also found illegal narcotics.

The 31-year-old man was booked into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections for his felony warrant and faces charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and a bicycle not equipped with a lamp when in use at night.
