Topeka, KS – According to the police officials, her name is Daisha Butler and she was identified as the suspect during an aggravated battery investigation.
About the incident – the shooting occurred around 10:15 p.m. Saturday.
It happened in the 1100 block of SW Clay Street.
Topeka Police Department officers responded to a shooting call.
When the officers arrived on scene, they discovered that a woman was taken to a nearby hospital.
The woman was suffering from a gunshot wound
The 21-year-old suspect was arrested and transported to the Shawnee Co. Department of Corrections.
Butler is being charged with Attempted 1st Degree Murder and Aggravated Battery.
