A third man from Kansas has been arrested on federal charges connected to last month’s attack on the U.S. Capitol

Kansas – According to the statement, the Kansas Bureau of Investigation has reported that the 35-year-old William Pope, of Topeka, was arrested Friday morning.

He faces the following charges: obstruction or impeding any official proceeding; civil disorder; entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds; disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds;

disorderly conduct in a capitol building; impeding passage through the capitol grounds of buildings; parading, demonstrating, or picketing in a capitol building.

William Pope was arrested by FBI Special Agents, members of the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force and officers with the Topeka Police Department.
