Lawrence, KS – According to the police officials, this unfortunate incident occurred along the Kansas Turnpike in western Douglas County.
The first responders arrived at the scene around 6:45 a.m., which was about 5 miles west of the Lecompton exit.
There was no immediate word of injuries.
