TOPEKA – According to the police officials, this unfortunate incident occurred right before 11 p.m. Sunday.
It happened near S.W. 30th and Randolph in west Topeka.
Topeka Police Department officers responded to a report of a crash.
When the officers arrived on scene, they found the driver.
Police say the man was pinned in the car and he suffered life-threatening injuries.
Officers extricated the driver and he was taken to a local hospital.
This incident is still under investigation.
