KANSAS – According to the police officials, the Kansas Highway Patrol officers were chasing Nathan Engle on westbound Kellogg around 10:50 p.m. Tuesday night.
The suspect attempted to take the southbound I-235 ramp and crashed into a bridge pillar.
After the crash, the officers shut down westbound traffic on Kellogg and southbound traffic on I-235 and surrounded the vehicle.
A Kansas Department of Transportation camera showed a SWAT team vehicle approach the vehicle.
One person was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
