KANSAS – According to the police report, this unfortunate incident happened around 8:10 p.m.
A 2014 Ford SUV was traveling westbound on I-470 when the SUV struck the man near mile marker 179.
The officers declared Derick Taylor, of Topeka, dead on the scene.
