KANSAS – According to the police officials, his name is Verlee McCullough and he has been arrested and charged for first-degree murder.
The 39-year-old man was booked into the Wyandotte County Jail on Tuesday, July 20.
His bond has been set at $1 million.
Details of the shooting – This unfortunate incident occurred around 9:45 a.m. on July 8.
It happened near North 8th Street and Everett Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas.
When the responding officers arrived on scene, they found the 37-year-old woman dead.
She was later identified as Ashley Jones.
