Lawrence, KS – According to the police officials, this unfortunate incident occurred right before 5 p.m. Monday.
It happened along Interstate 70 at the East Lawrence exit.
GMC Acadia was approaching the K-TAG lane.
Then, the driver swerved and crashed into the impact extenuator.
Her name is Charlotte Shown and she was transported to Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
Authorities say the 35-year-old woman suffered minor injuries.
Shown was wearing a seat belt.
This incident is under investigation.
