KANSAS – According to the police officials, this unfortunate incident occurred around 12:20 a.m. Wednesday.
Emergency crews responded to the report of a rollover vehicle crash in the 9300 block of SW Haverhill Road east of Augusta.
When the emergency crews arrived on scene, they found the vehicle on its top with two occupants inside.
There were no other vehicles involved.
The officials have reported that the car left the roadway for an unknown reason and struck a metal culvert pipe.
The driver of the vehicle, a 35-year-old man, was transported by air to a Wichita hospital with critical injuries.
The female passenger was pronounced dead at the scene.
