A 26-year-old woman has been arrested in connection to the escape of two inmates from a southeast Kansas county jail

KANSAS – According to the police officials, her name is Tasha Taylor and she was arrested Thursday morning after a search warrant was executed at her home.

Taylor was booked for two counts each of conspiracy to commit aggravated escape and felony aiding a fugitive, and one count of obstructing justice.

Michael Wayne Martsolf and Mark Gerald Hopkins II escaped the jail  around 10:50 p.m. Monday and have not been located. 

Hopkins was being held for a double homicide and Martsolf was jailed for drug-related crimes.

According to the officials, the escapees now face aggravated escape charges.
