KANSAS – According to the police officials, this unfortunate incident happened around 4:10 a.m. Monday.
A vehicle with four teens was westbound on State Avenue at a high rate of speed, when it struck an eastbound vehicle that was attempting to make a left turn.
The vehicle with the teens then struck a utility pole. Five of six victims in the crash were thrown from vehicles.
A 17-year-old girl died from her injuries. Her name is Chelsey Updike.
Two other teens and two adults remain hospitalized in serious condition.
