KANSAS – According to the police officials, this unfortunate incident occurred right before 2 a.m. Saturday.
It happened at the intersection of 4th and Kickapoo in Leavenworth.
Police say the 16-year-old was riding her bike and was struck by a vehicle.
The driver then fled the scene.
Authorities are investigating this case as a homicide and they are looking for a silver Subaru Outback.
