Lawrence, KS – According to the police officials, this unfortunate incident occurred around 4:45 p.m. Saturday.
It happened near the intersection of U.S. Highway 40 and Bob Billings Parkway in west Lawrence.
Her name is Linzie Sanders and she was struck in the face by the bolt.
Authorities say that none of the four other people riding in the Honda Pilot was injured.
This incident is under investigation.
