Atchison, KANSAS – According to the police officials, this unfortunate incident occurred on Main Street.
It happened early Friday morning.
Authorities did not say what started the pursuit.
The 15-year-old boy was driving a pickup truck, which left the road and hit a building.
He was thrown from the truck.
The 15-year-old boy was taken to the University of Kansas Hospital.
Authorities say that no one else was in the pickup and the 15-year-old was not wearing a seat belt.
