LAWRENCE — Family members of a 14-year-old girl who hasn’t returned home since Tuesday are concerned about her welfare and asking for help finding her.
Aniylaih Kimbrough is described as being 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing around 180 pounds, has two nose rings, and a right cheek dimple, according to the Lawrence Police Department.
Her friends say she was last seen around 8 p.m. Friday near the Amber Woods apartments, near East 38th Street and Mitthoeffer Road, and possibly near the 3500 block of North Pennsylvania Street, LPD Deputy Chief Gary Woodruff said in a press release.
She has a history of running away, her family says, but she typically returns home in a few days, Woodruff said. They are also concerned because she doesn’t have her cell phone.
