Leavenworth County, KANSAS – According to the court documents, the 67-year-old defendant pleaded no contest on Friday.
Prosecutors said the 67-year-old defendant, Dan Flannagan, was originally charged with second-degree murder in the death of his girlfriend Constance Perryman.
According to the court documents, the 67-year-old man pleaded no contest to voluntary manslaughter.
He will be sentenced April 8.
Prosecutors said the victim’s body was reportedly found on April 6, 2018.
The defendant told investigators that his girlfriend was missing after she walked away two days earlier.
The victim was shot with a shotgun pellet that penetrated her lungs and heart.
