Manhattan, KANSAS – According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the accident occurred right before 5 p.m. Sunday.
It happened at the intersection of US-24 and K-13.
Kansas Highway Patrol troopers responded to a report of a crash.
The responding troopers discovered that the 32-year-old driver of Toyota Sienna failed to yield the right of way to two motorcycles that were traveling west on US-24.
Troopers said the 32-year-old driver reportedly drove into the intersection and was struck by both of the motorcycles.
Both motorcyclist, Elizabeth Cook-Antoniato, and Michael Antoniato, suffered injuries and were taken to a hospital for treatment.
The 32-year-old driver of the vehicle, Samantha Keene, was not injured.
This incident remains under investigation.
