Thomas County, KANSAS – Kansas Highway Patrol officials said this unfortunate accident occurred right before 10 p.m. Monday.
It happened on I-70.
Kansas Highway Patrol troopers responded to a report of a crash.
The responding troopers discovered that the 53-year-old driver of the Kenworth semitrailer was westbound when he left the road and went into the ditch.
The semitrailer overturned and came to rest on its right side.
The 53-year-old driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
He was later identified as Roger Melton.
This incident remains under investigation.
