54-year-old man dead following single-vehicle crash on 2400 Road

Decatur County, KANSAS – According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, this unfortunate accident occurred right after 7 p.m. Thursday.

It happened on 2400 Road.

Kansas Highway Patrol troopers responded to a report of a crash.

The responding troopers discovered that Chevrolet Tahoe was heading north when his vehicle rolled several times.

The 54-year-old driver suffered life-threatening injuries and pronounced dead at the scene.

He was later identified as Robert Papp.

Troopers said the victim was not wearing a seat belt.
