KANSAS – According to the statement, Wyandotte County’s Board of Commissioners let the health order to expire at midnight.
A vote to extend the order 30 more days was held.
According to the statement, 7 of 9 commissioners voted against extending it.
The decision was made following information provided by health officials.
Commissioners and health officials recommend wear mask indoors.
About 27% of Wyandotte County residents have been fully vaccinated, while just over 30% of residents have received one shot.
The KDHE has reported that more than 41% of Kansans have been vaccinated with one dose.
