Ford County, KANSAS – According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, this unfortunate incident occurred right after 7 p.m. Monday.
It happened southwest of Offerle.
Kansas Highway Patrol troopers responded to a report of a crash.
The responding troopers discovered that the 8-year-old victim was driving ATV at a field entrance when the vehicle overturned.
The boy was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
He was identified as Nicholas Williams.
This incident remains under investigation.
