Butler County, KANSAS – According to the Butler County Sheriff’s Office, this unfortunate accident occurred right after 7 a.m. Saturday.
It happened in the 500 block of East 21st Street.
Butler County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a crash.
Deputies say the 71-year-old bicyclist was traveling east on 21st Street when he was struck from behind by a vehicle.
His name is George Hanson and authorities say he died from his injuries.
This incident remains under investigation.
