39-year-old woman arrested after OCSO deputy finds drugs while helping with disabled vehicle

Osage County, KANSAS – According to the Osage County Sheriff’s Office, the 39-year-old suspect was arrested and taken into custody on Sunday.

Her name is Kimberly Mayer and she was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, trafficking in contraband into a correctional facility, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Right before 7 a.m. Sunday morning, OCSO deputy was dispatched to a report of a disabled motorist at milepost 160 on I-35.

While on scene, drugs were located in possession of a passenger, OCSO officials said.

Mayer was taken into custody and transported to the Osage County Jail Facility.
