32-year-old man arrested on drug charges following I-35 traffic stop

Osage County, KANSAS – According to the Osage County Sheriff’s Office, his name is Marcos Arteaga-Juarez and he was arrested on Friday.

Deputies said the 32-year-old man was booked into the Osage County Jail for the following charges: possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Deputy stopped a car for a traffic violation near milepost 162 on I-35.

According to the Osage County Sheriff’s Office, a K9 was then used to search the suspect’s vehicle.

Illegal drugs were found inside the suspect’s vehicle, deputies said.
