Topeka, KANSAS – According to the Topeka Police Department, his name is Colby Fincham and he was arrested late Monday night.
Officials said the 31-year-old man was reportedly wanted in connection with an altercation in which the victim suffered serious injuries.
This incident occurred right before 8 p.m. Monday.
It happened in the 6500 block of S.W. 26th Court.
The responding officers made contact with the victim.
They said the victim suffered serious injuries after they were assaulted by a family member.
Fincham is now charged with aggravated battery, aggravated burglary, violation of a protection order, stalking, theft, criminal damage to property, interference with a law enforcement officer and possession of cocaine.
This incident remains under investigation.
