Ottawa, KANSAS – Ottawa Police Department officials said this incident occurred around 3:09 p.m. Sunday afternoon. It happened on West 11th Street.
Ottawa Police Department officers responded to a report of a stabbing.
The responding officers found one adult male victim, later identified as 29-year-old Dalton Presley, dead from an apparent stab wound.
Individual, who reportedly resides in the home, was detained at the scene and later transported to the Ottawa Police Department for investigation.
His name is Anthony Alvarado and he was later arrested for 2nd Degree Murder.
The 29-year-old suspect is being held in the Franklin County Adult Detention Center pending formal charges filed by the Franklin County Attorney’s Office.
