Shawnee County, KANSAS – Shawnee Co. Sheriff’s deputies responding to a reported crash near SE 61st Street and SE Berryton Road at 12:45 a.m. Sunday found one victim.
Deputies say the 28-year-old victim was traveling westbound on SE 61st Street, left the road to the north and struck multiple objects.
His name is Chase Barfoot and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Deputies say Barfoot was the only occupant of the GMC Sierra pickup.
