Topeka, KANSAS – According to the Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office, her name is Alexis Hager and she was arrested on Monday.
The 18-year-old woman is now charged with reckless driving, flee and elude, court records say.
Deputy reportedly saw the 18-year-ld woman failing to yield right of way at the intersection of SW 21st and SW Macvicar Ave.
A traffic stop was initiated but the vehicle’s driver failed to stop and a car chase started.
The 18-year-old went down an alley before coming to a stop.
Topeka Police Department officers assisted with the chase.
